In 2025 drew attention, the changes made to the categories in the Tractor of the Year awards given by the Italian Trattori Magazine since 1988. The most striking change was the addition of the Robot Tractor of the Year (TOTYBOT) category. A total of 26 juries selected the tractor of the year in 6 categories. The categories for 2025 were determined as follows; TOTY Highpower (High Power Category), TOTY Midpower (Medium Power Category), TOTY Utility (Multi-Purpose Tractor Category), TOTY Specialized (Special Purpose Tractor Category), Sustainable TOTY (Sustainable Tractor Category) and the most striking TOTYBOT (Robot Tractor Category).

The 2025 Tractor of the Year winners were selected as follows:

TOTY Highpower: Case IH Quadtrac 715

The Quadtrac 715, which is the world's second largest tractor in mass production, attracted attention with its FPT Cursor 16 engine, 778 horsepower maximum power and 3356 Newton meters maximum torque value. This giant machine, which is preferred in large areas, has continious track system on four-wheel to minimize soil compaction despite its size and weight.

TOTY Midpower: Fendt 620 Vario DP

The Fendt 620 Vario DP, the most powerful member of Fendt’s newly launched 600 family, was chosen as the tractor of the year in the medium power class. Its ability to reach maximum power at just 1,900 rpm and its weight-to-power ratio of 34.4 kg/hp played a major role in the jury’s decision.

TOTY Utility: Steyr 4120 Plus

The 4120 Plus tractor of the Austrian Steyr brand, which is part of CNH and attracts attention mostly in the European market, has earned the title of tractor of the year in the utility class with its high maneuverability.

TOTY Specialized: Antonio Carraro Tony 8900 TRG

Frequently preferred in vineyards and orchards and standing out with its compact dimensions and efficiency, the 8900 TRG model of the Italian manufacturer Antonio Carraro became the tractor of the year in the specialized class.

Sustainable TOTY: Fendt e107 Vario

The Fendt e107 Vario, which was chosen as the tractor of the year in the sustainable tractor category, attracted attention with its electric motor. This extremely environmentally friendly tractor can provide a maximum power of 90 kW. However, the 4-6 hour working time it offers at partial load with a full charge and the fact that it charges from 20% to 80% in 3 hours with a 22 kW charge show that electric tractors are not yet the most efficient alternative in difficult farming conditions.

TOTYBOT: AgXeed 5.115T2

The first winner of the Robot Tractor category, which was selected for the first time in 2025, was the 5.115T2 model from AgXeed. Operating completely unmanned and autonomously, the 5.112T2 stands out as an efficient alternative that reduces labor costs and saves time in difficult conditions with its 8000kg rear and 4000kg front lifting capacity and 115kW maximum power.
